Jackie Harris has long enjoyed working with her hands by sewing, quilting, needlepoint, jewelry-making, gardening, etc.
Although she has not done artwork until recently, she came from an artistic family and appreciates art and the work that goes into it. Currently, she is working in acrylics and was awarded a Merchant’s Award at the 2021 Muncie Art Guild Exhibit.
She has taken classes under the guidance of artist and fellow Guild member, Sarah Shafer.
